Hey, I’m Jack. I’ve basically had a controller in my hands since I could hold one; early memories of Quake 4, Halo: CE and Far Cry are pretty much baked into my brain at this point. Those games shaped how I think about design: cool worlds are great, but if the moment-to-moment gameplay doesn’t hit, the whole experience falls flat. I’m obsessed with the stuff players remember; the Warthog Run in Halo 3, Ravenholm in Half-Life 2, all those classic “oh damn” moments.

Fast‑forward to now: I’m a Level Designer working on one of the largest open-world IPs.I’ve worked with talented people, shipped meaningful work and learned how to design for players at scale.

I’m comfortable across multiple engines: UE5, Unity and proprietary tools and I’ve picked up extra skills in areas like audio and rapid prototyping. Basically, I like having enough technical range to try weird ideas quickly and make design decisions that actually make sense.

At the end of the day, I’m still driven by the same thing that got me into games: creating moments players talk about years later. If I can build something that makes someone say “oh hell yeah,” then I’m doing my job.
